Buffets and Las Vegas are almost synonymous. We are in the process of generating a definitive list of buffets in and around Las Vegas. There are five lists based on location. The Strip, North and South, Downtown around Fremont St., Greater Las Vegas (including North Las Vegas) and Out of Town with places like Stateline, Henderson and Mesquite. If you want to check out a place you know by name, the Alphabetic listing might be the place to look. Review the lists that are convenient to where you are staying and what kind of transportation you have available. For short distances, there are an abundant number of taxis along the strip and there is a city bus line that runs from the strip to downtown. For the other areas you should probably have your own car.
  • North Strip - Las Vegas Blvd from the Fashion Square Mall north to the end of the strip. Includes places that are within a short walk from the strip too.
  • South Strip - Las Vegas Blvd from the Fashion Square Mall south to the end of the strip. Includes places that are within a block's walk from the strip too.
  • Downtown - The area of downtown in and around Fremont Street. There are some real gems here. Come down for dinner and stay to see the Fremont St. Experience. You won't soon forget it.
  • Around Town - Not all the action is on the strip or Fremont St. There are hotels and casinos in other parts of the city. Here are some spots that are more popular with the locals than with visitors.
  • Out of Town - There is more to Nevada than Las Vegas. Within an hour's drive are some very interesting spots. If you have a car, check out this list.
