Downtown
This is a list of places in and around Fremont
St., or "Glitter Gulch" as it is known. One of
the biggest and most spectacular changes in Las Vegas is
over Fremont St. That is the new computer controlled
light and music show called the "Fremont Street
Experience". Try to make time to come downtown one
evening during your visit. The shows are run every hour
during the evening (check locally as performance times
are subject to change). Just before the show begins, the
big casino signs are all turned off. That experience
alone is worth the time. It felt kind of spooky.
